I did one of these posts back in April and thought it was high time for an update! Things are calming down computer-wise only to pick back up knitting wise, so I’ll have a lot of TV time over the next month. I’ll never quit you, Netflix!
One Tree Hill – Season 5 Cast Photo
One Tree Hill, season 5, Netflix: I can’t fucking believe I’m still watching this stupid show! Back in April I was on season 1 and amazingly I’m now in the middle of season 5. It’s 2007! We’re super into dress shorts and most of the super attractive white people in the show are very famous after a hilarious time jump over collage (so smart). Fashion designers! Writers! Nearly famous basketball players! It’s NEARLY unwatchable. Nearly. Ever so nearly.
Black Sails
Black Sails, seasons 1 and 2, ???: Shane and I blew through all of Black Sails recently and this pirate whore island show has absolutely no business being as good as it is. It looks awesome, the costumes are great, the story is compelling and gripping, and season 2 is batshit bonkers insanity. Sure, when they aren’t on a ship they are in a brothel and there are tons of boobs everywhere, but there are some bad ass women running things too so it kind of evens out. If you’ve got access to Starz or a friend who has access (thanks Paul!), check it out! It’s pretty fun.
Orphan Black
Orphan Black, seasons 1 and 2, Amazon Prime: Another two seasons Shane and I did over a rainy weekend! I had no clue what I was getting into when we started it, but Orphan Black is for sure the best show I’ve watched in ages. We did a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime just so we could keep watching it! It’s funny and compelling, and as soon as you think you’ve got something figured out you don’t have anything figured out. Season 3 is airing on BBC American now apparently and I can’t wait to watch all of those in a day! Super insanely highly recommended.
The Amazing Race!
The Amazing Race! Seasons 2404282482, CBS Go: My mom shared her newly acquired CBS Go account with me and I’ve been working my way through seasons of Amazing Race, which is just so infinitely entertaining. There are a billion seasons and watching a ton of episodes in a row makes me feel like I’m not just sitting on my couch but doing travel research! For the record, this is the only reality show I’d ever go on. Until they make a reality show about knitting!

I just saw Pretty Little Liars season 5 pop up on Netflix so that’s for sure happening soon! I love that crazy show.
